September 28th we will be presenting a programme of lush polyphony from Portugal, music that combines the daring harmonies of Monteverdi with the crystal classicism of Palestrina. A heady mix!
The conductor is David Skinner and the choir will be accompanied by bajón and renaissance harp. Music is by Manuel Cardoso, Duarte Lôbo, Filipe de Magalhães and others. The concert will be held at Little St. Mary’s Church:
